Job Summary

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions in the textile unit, including recruitment, training, payroll management, employee relations, statutory compliance, and performance management. The role ensures smooth workforce operations and supports management in maintaining a productive and disciplined work environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for showroom, production, and support staff.
  • Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and coordinate onboarding.
  • Maintain manpower planning based on production/showroom requirements.

2. Employee Orientation & Training

  • Conduct induction for new employees.
  • Plan training programs for sales staff, tailors, production teams, and supervisors.
  • Improve employee skills, customer service quality, and productivity.

3. Attendance, Payroll & Leave Management

  • Monitor daily attendance, biometrics, shift schedules, and OT records.
  • Coordinate monthly payroll processing with accounts/management.
  • Maintain leave registers and handle leave approvals as per company norms.

4. Employee Relations & Discipline

  • Handle employee grievances professionally.
  • Ensure discipline across departments.
  • Conduct counselling sessions and issue notices/warnings when required.
  • Build good communication between staff and management.

5. Performance Management

  • Implement appraisal systems for showroom and production staff.
  • Track KPIs: sales performance, productivity, customer handling, and quality.
  • Recommend promotions, increments, and rewards.

6. HR Administration

  • Maintain employee files, ID cards, uniform issuing, and HR documentation.
  • Prepare HR letters: appointment, confirmation, warnings, increments, etc.

7. Workplace Management

  • Ensure safe working environment as per textile industry standards.
  • Monitor hygiene and housekeeping.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR / Master of Business Administration.
  • 3–7 years of HR experience in the textile/apparel/showroom sector (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage large teams.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-management skills.
  • Prefered Female candidates only.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
