Job Description – HR Manager

Industry: Automobile (Two-Wheeler / Four-Wheeler Dealership)

Department: Human Resources

1. Job Purpose

To manage end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, statutory compliance, training & development, and HR operations to ensure a productive and compliant work environment.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA.

Recruitment & Manpower Planning

· Manage complete recruitment lifecycle: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviews, onboarding.

· Coordinate manpower needs for all dealership departments.

· Maintain annual manpower budget and reduce attrition through HR strategies.

B. HR Operations & Administration

· Manage attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and employee records.

· Implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee guidelines.

· Oversee joining & exit formalities including F&F and documentation.

C. Employee Engagement & Retention

· Conduct employee engagement activities and recognition programs.

· Address grievances and maintain workplace culture.

· Drive initiatives that reduce employee turnover.

D. Performance Management

· Lead performance review cycles.

· Finalize KRAs/KPIs with department heads.

· Track performance, identify top talent & low performers.

E. Training & Development

· Identify training needs across departments.

· Coordinate with OEM for technical & soft-skill training.

· Conduct in-house training sessions.

F. Statutory Compliance & Legal

· Ensure compliance with Labour Laws, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.

· Manage audits and statutory records.

· Support disciplinary actions and legal compliance.

G. HR Reporting & MIS

· Prepare monthly HR MIS (manpower, attrition, joiners/exits, training).

· Present HR analysis and recommendations to management.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of HR operations & statutory compliance.

· Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.

· Understanding of dealership functions (Sales, Service, Spares).

· Ability to manage multi-branch HR operations.

· Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS, and attendance systems.

4. Qualifications & Experience

· MBA HR / MSW / PGDM HR or Any Degree.

· 5–12 years of HR experience.

· Automobile dealership experience preferred.

· Experience handling large manpower teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
