This position reports to: Cluster Lead - HR Operations MEA & SA (HR Operations - MEA and SA, Front office Lead).
Leads HR Services operations in a respective country HR front office and drives end to end operations, delivering high quality services against agreed performance targets. Responsible for people management in the respective HR front office, accountable for locally meeting the globally set standards for HR Services operations, and ensuring that the local legal and regulatory requirements are adhered to in both the HR Services operations hub and the front office processes of the respective country.
Responsibilities
- Strategic People & Operations Management - Define and drive the people management strategy of the HR front office (e.g., workforce planning, training, engagement, mentoring, succession planning, incentives, and retention). Accountable for end to end HR operations in the country, including the HR contact centre, payroll, and hire to retire processes. Ensure services are delivered according to signed off processes, KPIs, and quality targets while maintaining a high degree of customer orientation.
- Governance, Compliance & Financial Accountability - Drive financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring alignment with the given budget. Ensure all GBS HR processes incorporate appropriate control mechanisms such as 4 eye check/SOX checks, data protection, and compliance with country specific legal and regulatory requirements. Take ownership of escalations and drive resolutions independently.
- Performance Optimization & Customer Experience - Continuously analyse and optimise operational performance across teams, implement a culture of continuous improvement, and enhance the customer experience journey by analysing feedback and driving actions. Manage ongoing improvement activities including training, knowledge transfer, and regular quality checks. Plan the development of operations and refine the operating model, organisational structure, and governance.
- Transformation, Collaboration & Strategic Contribution - Contribute to the HR Services operations strategy and roadmap, and implement global initiatives such as acquisitions, divestments, and new policies. Identify deficiencies in daily business, solve them autonomously, provide local expertise to global projects, and foster innovation through stakeholder collaboration. Seek opportunities to expand offerings in line with business strategy, contribute local expertise to global projects, and foster collaboration across functions. Lead change management through HR transitions and continuously exchange with stakeholders to improve service delivery through innovation and best practices.

Qualifications
- HR Experience & Project Background - 5-8 years of experience within the HR function, with solid knowledge of payroll, employee lifecycle, employee data, and HR processes. Proven project experience, preferably in large transformation programmes. Comfortable working independently and navigating complex environments.
- Technical Skills & Systems Knowledge - Knowledge of Workday and/or SAP HR is a must. Bachelor's degree in a related field such as IT, Data / Business Administration / CIPD / Human Resources, or any related field including Information Technology and Data Business Analytics.
- Communication & Collaboration - Ability to present information simply and clearly, communicate effectively. Collaborative and team work centric, with a strong emphasis on cross functional engagement.
- Education - Holds a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as IT, Data / Business Administration / CIPD / Human Resources, or related disciplines like Information Technology and Data Business Analytics.
