Job Title: HR Recruiter
Job Description: An HR Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for various job positions within an organization. The recruiter plays a crucial role in finding the right talent to meet the company's staffing needs and to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
Job posting and Sourcing: Create job descriptions, post job openings on various job boards, company website, and social media platforms. Source potential candidates through online platforms, networking events, and referrals.
Screening and Short listing: Review incoming resumes and applications, shortlist candidates who match the job requirements, and communicate with them about the next steps in the recruitment process.
Interviewing: Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and team members.
Candidate Assessment: Administer tests, assignments, or assessments to evaluate candidates' suitability for the role. Analyze results and share feedback with hiring managers.
Reference and Background Checks: Conduct reference checks to verify candidates' work history, skills, and qualifications. Ensure candidates meet the organization's standards.
Offer Negotiation: Communicate job offers to selected candidates, discuss compensation packages, benefits, and other terms of employment. Negotiate as necessary to secure the candidate's acceptance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of candidate information, interview feedback, and hiring decisions in the applicant tracking system or other databases.
Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Keep candidates informed about their application status and provide feedback when appropriate.
Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs, align recruitment strategies, and provide regular updates on the hiring process.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices to optimize the hiring process and attract top talent.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
Prior experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR-related roles is beneficial.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
Ability to work independently, manages multiple tasks, and meets deadlines.
Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
