HSE Engineer-HSE In charge

We are seeking a highly responsible and experienced HSE In-Charge to oversee and implement Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across our projects. The ideal candidate must have strong practical experience and a proven track record in maintaining safe work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans.
• Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments at project sites.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, project specifications, and company standards.
• Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and prepare detailed reports.
• Coordinate with project teams to enforce effective safety measures.
• Maintain all HSE documentation, permits, and reporting records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (preferably Safety, Environmental, or Civil/Mechanical Engineering).
• Strong experience in HSE roles within construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management, and safety procedures.
• Certification such as NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field (HSE roles in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects).
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk management, and safety regulations.
• Certification in HSE/NEBOSH/OSHA is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and enforce safety procedures.
