We are urgently hiring a qualified and experienced HSE Engineer for a 1-year oil and gas field project. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in field safety operations and a strong understanding of HSE regulations and practices in the oil and gas industry.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain HSE procedures, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and job safety analyses (JSA).
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and HSE induction training for workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor worksite activities to identify and eliminate unsafe practices or conditions.
• Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain all required HSE documentation and reports.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to implement safety plans.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across the site workforce.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as an HSE Engineer in the oil and gas sector.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is mandatory.
• Solid knowledge of local HSE laws and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Strong communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
• Valid QID is mandatory.
• Candidates available to join immediately will be given preference.
