Duties
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing candidates through (Applicant Tracking Systems) like Indeed, LinkedIn, or Zip Recruiter, and coordinating interviews through effective communication skills.
- Support onboarding and employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry and recordkeeping within HRIS platforms such as Axis Care, Paycheck Flex and ensuring data collection is precise and up-to-date.
- Aid in benefits administration by processing enrollments, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation claims.
- Contribute to employee evaluation processes by assisting with performance management documentation and supporting training & development initiatives.
- Help manage employee relations by addressing routine inquiries, facilitating conflict management resolutions, and supporting communication efforts across social media management channels.
- Support compliance efforts related to OSHA standards, affirmative action planning, and labor law adherence by maintaining necessary documentation and assisting in audits.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in administrative roles with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with human capital management systems such as Paychex, ADP, Kronos, or Dayforce is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law principles including FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
- Experience with project management tools and strategic planning processes related to human resources management.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Prior exposure to recruiting platforms like Taleo or Lever is a plus; familiarity with data collection tools such as Salesforce or PeopleSoft is advantageous.
