Job Summary
Taos Pueblo is seeking top-notch multi-task-oriented applicants for the full-time position of Human Resources Director to include an excellent fringe benefit package. We are in search of someone with excellent management experience and people skills who must be able to communicate effectively with personnel and agencies to administer the day-to-day activities within the office. The Human Resources Director plans and oversees human resources functional operations, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety in compliance in accordance with established laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Collaborates with senior leadership to align HR strategies with programs goals; fosters a positive and productive work environment; Provides professional leadership, coordination and assures effective execution for programs.
Duties
Education and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, Human Resources, or related field plus five years’ experience leading municipal services and public projects. Three years in a supervisory capacity or a combination of education direct experience. Human Resources certification preferred. Valid New Mexico driver’s license with ability to meet Pueblo’s liability insurance requirements and maintain eligibility for insurance. Must be able to pass drug test, physical examination and background check, with NO prior convictions of any felonies.

Pay: $72,462.00 - $94,547.00 per year
