Location: Amity University Hyderabad

Position: HR Executive / HR Officer (as applicable)

1. Role Purpose

To support and manage all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, documentation, policy compliance, and coordination between faculty, staff and management. The role ensures smooth HR operations and a positive work culture within the university.

2. Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Identify manpower requirements for academic and non-academic positions.
  • Draft job postings, screen applications, schedule interviews, and coordinate with department heads.
  • Issue offer letters, conduct joining formalities, orientation and induction sessions.
  • Ensure smooth transition of new employees into the campus environment.

  • Update HRIS/employee database and generate HR reports as required.
  • Handle ID cards, access, and documentation for audits.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Address employee grievances professionally and maintain healthy employee relations.
  • Conduct employee engagement programs and ensure positive workplace environment.
  • Support learning and development activities, training sessions, and welfare initiatives.

Organizational & Administrative Support

  • Coordinate with academic departments, administration, and management.
  • Prepare HR analytics, reports, dashboards, and data for reviews.
  • Support organizational development, talent retention, and workforce planning.

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as a communication bridge between staff, faculty and management.
  • Represent HR in meetings, committees, and campus events.
  • Handle communication related to notices, circulars, and campus HR updates.

3. Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving ability, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Experience in educational institutions is an added advantage.
