Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and extensive experience in human capital management systems. The Human Resources Generalist will play a vital role in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting organizational growth through effective HR practices.
Duties
- Oversee talent acquisition processes including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees using ATS platforms like iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo.
- Administer employee benefits programs and manage benefits administration using systems such as ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation policies.
- Develop and implement employee orientation and training programs to enhance workforce development.
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance management activities aligned with company goals.
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace conflicts and facilitating conflict management strategies.
- Support change management initiatives and organizational design projects to improve efficiency and culture.
- Maintain HRIS data entry accuracy and generate reports for strategic planning using platforms like SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM.
- Assist with affirmative action planning, succession planning, and HR sourcing strategies to support diversity and talent pipeline development.
- Handle administrative HR functions such as contract management, data collection, and record keeping with precision.
- Collaborate on project management tasks related to HR initiatives including training & development programs.
- Support workforce management efforts through scheduling, labor law compliance, and HR analytics.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role with a comprehensive understanding of human resources management practices.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, or ADP is required.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) like iCIMS or Taleo; social media management for recruiting is a plus.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability in conflict management, change management, and organizational design processes.
- Prior experience in benefits administration, payroll systems such as Paychex or Paylocity, and performance management tools is highly desirable.
