We’re hiring! Join our dynamic HR team in Kolkata as an HR Operations Specialist .

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for streamlining HR processes and ensuring airtight compliance in the tech industry? If you thrive on managing the entire employee lifecycle within a modern HRIS, we want to hear from you!

This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the seamless and compliant execution of all day-to-day HR administrative functions for our growing tech workforce. You will be the go-to expert for HR systems, employee data, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

1. HRIS Management & Data Integrity

  • System Administration: Serve as the primary user for the HRIS/HRMS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, etc.). Manage system configurations for employee data, organizational structure, and workflows.
  • Data Management: Ensure all employee records, documentation, and data points are accurately and securely maintained in the HRIS and physical files, adhering to data privacy regulations.
  • Automation: Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to leverage HR technology to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.

2. Employee Lifecycle Management (End-to-End)

  • Onboarding: Manage all new hire formalities, including documentation, background verification, system access, and conducting the administrative portion of the induction program.
  • Documentation: Prepare and issue all official employee letters (Offer, Appointment, Confirmation, Transfer, Promotion, Experience, etc.).
  • Offboarding: Execute the exit process, including coordinating clearance, conducting exit interviews, and calculating full and final settlements in compliance with statutory timelines.

3. Payroll & Statutory Compliance

  • Payroll Input: Collect, verify, and reconcile monthly attendance, leave, overtime, and reimbursement data for seamless payroll processing.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence and timely filing for all applicable labor law requirements, including PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employee State Insurance), Gratuity , and Professional Tax .
  • Audits: Support internal and external audits by preparing compliance-related documentation and reports.

4. Employee Support & Reporting

  • HR Helpdesk: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and HR systems, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate scheduled and ad-hoc HR reports (headcount, attrition, leave usage, compliance dashboards) to provide actionable insights to management.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of dedicated experience in HR Operations or HR Administration, preferably within the IT/Tech industry .
  • Technical Skill: Proven hands-on experience with an HRIS (e.g., SAP, Workday, Zoho People, etc.) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOK UP) for data analysis.
  • Knowledge: Strong practical knowledge of Indian Labor Laws and statutory compliance requirements in West Bengal/Kolkata.
  • Soft skill: Exceptional attention to detail , strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the highest level of confidentiality .
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
