We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to help us attract, retain, and support top talent while ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Summary
The HR Specialist will manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, and HR recordkeeping. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating hiring decisions.
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition and strong first impression for new hires.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other perks, acting as a liaison between employees and providers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support performance management processes, including annual reviews and employee development plans.
- Advise leadership and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Handle employee relations matters, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, workplace safety standards, and company policies.
- Assist in payroll coordination and timekeeping processes.
- Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for improving HR systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist, HR specialist, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: Range $45,000 - 50,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm CST
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist, HR specialist, or similar role.
