Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the overall HR functions, including onboarding, training development, payroll, benefits administration, and team engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of HR experience and a strong ability to handle employee relations, implement programs, and collaborate closely with the Director of Operations and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
Develop, implement, and maintain employee training programs and professional development initiatives
Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Plan and coordinate team events, celebrations, and employee engagement activities
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing issues professionally and confidentially
Work directly with the Director of Operations and leadership team to implement HR strategies and initiatives
Enroll employees in relevant certifications and professional development programs
Maintain accurate HR records, policies, and procedures in compliance with applicable laws
Stay current on HR best practices and regulations to ensure company policies are up to date

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources or related field
Strong knowledge of HR functions including onboarding, payroll, benefits, training, and employee relations
Experience planning and coordinating employee events and engagement initiatives
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality
Familiarity with HR software and tools for payroll, benefits, and training management
Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
Certification in HR (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) preferred or willingness to obtain
