Position Summary: The HR Staffing Coordinator is responsible for various duties within the staffing function starting with supporting mangers to post job openings, identifying qualified candidates, processing selected candidates through the Human Resources Information System, and then assisting with new hire orientation and onboarding. Other duties include providing employee and manager support with HR requests and procedures, managing and updating employee information in the HRIS, and ensuring compliance with all Grande Ronde Hospital policies, procedures and legal requirements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of HR experience required. Staffing or recruiting experience preferred.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Support Managers to post job openings, identify qualified candidates, and process candidates through the HRIS system accurately and timely.
2) Ensures all new employees meet the required credentials/qualifications to work in their respective positions.
3) Assist with recruiting by attending job fairs and working with managers and outside recruiting firms to help organize and fill temporary and/or traveler positions.
4) Facilitate the first day of New Hire Orientation.
5) Process all employee job changes and transfers within the HRIS.
6) Supports employees with various HR requests for assistance.
7) Coordinates retirement celebrations and other various employee events.
8) Works with other HR team members to ensure compliance with all GRH policies, procedures, legal requirements, and helps ensure that all personnel files meet the standards required by Joint Commission.
9) Works with other members of the HR Team to serve as a backup when others are absent or need assistance.

5) Process oriented – ability to evaluate and improve HR administrative processes.

Compensation:

$26.38 - $36.36 Per Hour DOE
