THE JOB:

At the Mass Mutual Center, we are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician whose thrives on taking mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to optimal performance! With 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC and related building systems, you will ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and uphold the integrity of our operations. THE STARTING RATE: $34.57 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Perform predictive maintenance and reactive repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, and refrigeration systems.

• Maintain accurate records of labor time, parts used, and completed work.

• Clean, inspect, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems as needed.

• Operate maintenance equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and HVAC storage.

• Manage refrigerant logs per EPA regulations and keep a quarterly inventory of equipment and supplies.

• Assist the Director of Arena Operations with capital projects as needed.

• Read and understand blueprints and schematics for equipment maintenance and repair.

• Adhere to safety and operational standards as set by company policies and OSHA regulations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

• 2+ Years of prior experience in General Maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC or related building systems in a similar environment

• Valid MA Refrigeration’ License-Required

• Valid EPA Universal Certification Required

• Valid driver’s license

• Valid Mechanical or EPA HVAC&R A-B license - Required

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

$34.57

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
