Job Details: HVAC Technician

Job Purpose : To carry out HVAC installation & maintenance activities - whether inspections, new installation, preventive, corrective or repair works as per the set standards and procedures for the concerned assets within the premises to ensure their timely availability, reliability, safety, and efficiency.

General Duties

Carry out HVAC system installations, inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to the defined schedules and methods to guarantee the provision of a timely service to customers.

React to any complaints or emergencies promptly and as directed by the Supervisor so as to provide the necessary measures and resolve customers requirements .

Monitor the running conditions of various assets within the scope of work, check their operational efficiency, ensure that their functionality complies with standards, and take the necessary preventive measures if any problems are detected.

Ability to understand refrigeration cycle elements and read basic diagrams

Ability to diagnose faults and suggest repairs weather mechanical or electrical

Perform repairs on any heating and ventilation, refrigeration, cooling systems (AHU, FCU, DX, split units, exhaust fans…)

Repair HVAC electrical faults and bring systems to normal operational conditions

Read, when required, BTU meters and compile information in an understandable manner

Investigate and repair HVAC related BMS faults such as temperature, pressure sensors…

Perform operational duties in chilled water plants

Minimum Qualifications: Diploma or a 2 year Industrial Training Course in the relevant field

Minimum Experience: 2 to 5 years’ experience in maintenance work in the relevant field

Job-specific Skills: Proficiency in English language; coordination skills, numerical skills, understanding and following SOPs/ work instructions, communication skills, knowledge in health & safety standards; job specific skills in the relevant field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,800.00 per month

Experience:

• HVAC: 2 years (Preferred)
