Hydraulic Mechanic - Construction site

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and related mechanical components.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, generators, compressors, and construction vehicles.
• Inspect and replace defective parts using appropriate tools, service manuals, and diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records for all machinery and vehicles.
• Test equipment after repairs to verify proper performance and functionality.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry maintenance standards.
• Support field operations by providing quick and efficient mechanical assistance when required.
• Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor for scheduling, spare parts requirements, and major repairs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical / Automotive / Heavy Equipment Maintenance.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Diesel or Hydraulic Mechanic (construction or heavy equipment industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
• Hands-on experience in repair of excavators, loaders, cranes, generators, and compressors.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• GCC experience and a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
