Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and related mechanical components.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, generators, compressors, and construction vehicles.
- Inspect and replace defective parts using appropriate tools, service manuals, and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records for all machinery and vehicles.
- Test equipment after repairs to verify proper performance and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry maintenance standards.
- Support field operations by providing quick and efficient mechanical assistance when required.
- Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor for scheduling, spare parts requirements, and major repairs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical / Automotive / Heavy Equipment Maintenance.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Diesel or Hydraulic Mechanic (construction or heavy equipment industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
- Hands-on experience in repair of excavators, loaders, cranes, generators, and compressors.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- GCC experience and a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
