Hydro Testing & Maintenance Technician (Mechanical/Electrical)

Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Hydro Testing & Maintenance Technician with solid experience in mechanical/electrical testing and maintenance. This role involves working on pressure systems, valves, and electrical safety checks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Candidates with transferable skills in mechanical maintenance, QA/QC, or testing are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests using gauges and chart recorders.
• Support pipe isolation and freezing operations during maintenance.
• Carry out valve servicing, overhauling, and calibration (including PRVs).
• Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) for electrical safety compliance.
• Perform Earth Pit Testing and Megger Testing for grounding and insulation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate test records, calibration certificates, and reports.
• Work closely with engineers and QA/QC teams for approvals and documentation.
• Follow strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with client specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in mechanical/electrical testing, maintenance, or QA/QC.
• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, safety standards, and test equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and test plans.
• Certification in PAT, PRV calibration, or related testing methods is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and teamwork skills.
• Candidates with mechanical/electrical maintenance backgrounds are welcome.
