ICU Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Manager to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of our Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality patient care, efficient workflow, and compliance with hospital standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage ICU staff including nurses, technicians, and support employees.
• Monitor ICU patient care delivery and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
• Develop duty schedules, assign responsibilities, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Coordinate communication between doctors, medical teams, and administrative departments.
• Conduct daily rounds and ensure timely documentation of patient progress.
• Manage ICU equipment, stock levels, and ensure timely maintenance and calibration.
• Train, mentor, and guide nursing staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Assist in developing ICU budgets and controlling unit expenses.
• Handle patient concerns, safety issues, and ensure best patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (B.Sc / M.Sc Nursing) or equivalent.
• Valid nursing license/registration.
• Proven experience in ICU operations and staff management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
