IGCSE English Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and passionate IGCSE English Facilitator to join our team. As an IGCSE English teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in accordance with the Cambridge International curriculum standards. Your primary duties will include:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the IGCSE curriculum.

2. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and student well-being.

3. Assess students' progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.

4. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to facilitate their learning and development.

5. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and foster their individual strengths.

6. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to keep them informed of students' progress and address any concerns.

7. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational trends and practices.

8. Contribute to the extracurricular life of the school through involvement in clubs, activities, and events.

9. Uphold the values and ethos of the institution and serve as a positive role model for students.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in related field.

- Minimum one year of teaching experience handling the IGCSE curriculum.

- Experience teaching English using the Cambridge curriculum is highly desirable.

- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

- Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for continuous learning.
