Job Overview

We are seeking an immigration paralegal, and we welcome applicants with a broad range of experience levels — from developing professionals to seasoned specialists. Candidates with more substantial immigration experience are strongly preferred. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on case preparation, client communication, and document management across a wide range of immigration matters in a high-growth, purpose-driven firm.

Preferred Skill Set

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is highly preferred; fluency in both is a significant plus
  • Comfort with case management software and cloud-based tools
  • Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with immigrant clients
  • Prior immigration experience is preferred; advanced experience is highly valued

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare immigration forms, packets, and supporting evidence
  • Assist attorneys with filings before USCIS, EOIR, NVC, and consulates
  • Communicate with clients to gather documents and provide updates
  • Maintain organized, accurate case files through the firm’s case management systems
  • Draft client declarations and assist in evidence collection
  • Conduct legal research as needed
  • Perform administrative tasks related to case preparation and processing

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: ($45,000 - $60,000) - Commensurate with experience
  • 401(k) retirement plan
