Industrial Engineer - Garment Industry

Role Overview:

The IE Executive will be responsible for production planning, efficiency improvement, SAM calculation, line balancing, and overall performance monitoring within the garment manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare daily production plans and coordinate with production teams.

- Conduct method stud­­­­­­­­y and time study; identify bottlenecks.

- Implement line balancing for smooth workflow.

- Monitor style changeover and reduce changeover time.

- Calculate SAM (Standard Allowed Minutes) and prepare Operation Bulletin.

- Track line efficiency, operator efficiency, machine utilization, and WIP.

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly IE reports.

- Implement Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement tools.

- Maintain operator skill matrix and support training.

- Prepare machine layouts and manpower requirement.

- Calculate factory capacity using SAM and production load.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 3 years experience in garment manufacturing.

- Strong knowledge of SAM, SMV, line balancing, and production planning.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

- Strong communication and coordination ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Diploma or B.Tech in Textile / Apparel / Industrial Engineering.

- Experience with IE tools, productivity software, or ERP.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
