Industrial Maintenance Technician – Automated Spiral Element Production Equipment

Location: Poway, CA
Pay: $33–$43/hr + $2/hr night shift differential
Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM

About the Role:
Toray Membrane USA Inc., a global leader in water treatment technology, is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair Automated Spiral Element Production Equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is not a facilities maintenance role—applicants with only HVAC, plumbing, or building maintenance experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on automated spiral element production equipment and related machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Document all maintenance activities for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years hands-on experience with industrial machinery maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills; PLC familiarity preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude including gear systems, bearings, actuators, precision alignment techniques, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to work night shift and maintain safety standards.
• Certifications in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
