FIELD TRAINER
Reports To: Regional Manager
Position Overview:
You will be tasked with educating and ensuring understanding with company policy, marketing, systems, collections, occupancy, community maintenance, staff and resident relations, and expense control for Communities within the region.
Core Responsibilities:
o Partner with regional and community leaders to understand operations gaps and how to address through coaching or training.
o Act as liaison between the EDGE team and Community Managers to address and resolve training or coaching issues.
o Provide on-going peer support to regional employees to assist communities and the region in meeting their goals.
o Identify areas of opportunity and deliver customized sessions with Community Managers for on-going learning and growth.
o Strategize, develop, and execute a plan for each community and their team members.
o On-board either one-on-one or in small groups, including new CMITs, Community Managers, Sales and Leasing Agents, Office Admin and/or Maintenance Staff to educate on company policies and procedures.
o Utilize YES materials to further educate new and existing region employees.
o Develop consistency in region including employee meetings, lease and sales process, filing, collections, onboarding, advertising, refurb, etc.
o Monitor and track progress of region employees on systems and procedures covered.
o Train on resident interaction, prospect, and vendor management scenarios with members of the region staff to develop their ability to handle situations with confidence.
o Attend on-going company education seminars and develop an expert proficiency on all new company policies and procedures.
o Communicate updates on policies and procedures at regional meetings or on regional conference calls.
Other Responsibilities:- Meet with Professional Development Manager Two Times a Month for a ½ hour minimum.
- Manage communities as needed (limited, no more than 2weeks).
- Meet with Operations Manager One Time a Month for an Hour.
- Meet with Regional Manager weekly on regional training plan.
Required Skills and Abilities:- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and support staff performance.
- Ability to travel up to 75% within the region.
