Informatica IDMC Developer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Informatica IDMC Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud-based data integration pipelines and ETL processes within the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (IICS) and related services, strong SQL and data transformation expertise, and a solid understanding of cloud data architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

You will collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable data solutions supporting analytics, data migration, and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Integration & Development:

• Design, develop, and deploy ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (IICS).
• Integrate data from multiple sources (on-premises and cloud) such as relational databases, APIs, files, and SaaS applications.
• Develop complex data transformations , mappings, and workflows aligned with business logic and data models.
• Implement incremental data loads, data validation, and cleansing routines.
• Optimize data flows for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Platform & Environment:

• Configure and maintain Informatica connections, Secure Agents, and runtime environments .
• Support migration of assets between development, test, and production environments.
• Work with the Informatica administration team to troubleshoot connectivity or performance issues.

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work with data architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise data models and standards.
• Partner with analysts and business users to translate requirements into technical ETL designs.
• Document data flow designs, mappings, dependencies, and operational procedures.
• Support testing, deployment, and release management processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience in data integration or ETL development.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC / IICS (Informatica Cloud Data Integration) .
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation logic (joins, aggregations, lookups, windowing functions).
• Experience integrating with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (staging, dimension modeling, slowly changing dimensions).
• Understanding of data governance and quality practices .
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD integration for Informatica assets.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance, load, and mapping issues effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field .
• Informatica Certified Professional – Cloud Data Integration Specialist.
• Experience with Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI) or Data Quality (CDQ) .
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML data formats .
• Exposure to Python or PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of data modeling tools and data catalog systems (CDGC, Axon, Collibra, etc.) .
