Infrastructure Systems Administrator (Windows/Linux) (Systems Engineer)

Role Purpose:

Responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure environments including Windows Server, Linux Server, virtualization, cloud platforms, and hybrid infrastructure to ensure system reliability, security, performance, and operational continuity.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments

• Support VMware, Nutanix, and virtualization infrastructure operations

• Monitor system performance, backups, and infrastructure availability

• Perform troubleshooting, patching, system upgrades, and root cause analysis

• Configure and manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user access

• Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments

• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible

• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness

• Maintain operational documentation and monitoring reports

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Infrastructure Administration, Systems Engineering, or Enterprise IT Operations

• Experience in Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Nutanix, and cloud platforms is required

• Experience in enterprise or high-availability environments is preferred

Education & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration

• Experience with VMware, Nutanix, virtualization, and cloud technologies

• Knowledge of Active Directory, PowerShell, Bash, and infrastructure automation

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Nagios, or SolarWinds

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
