Account Executive- CPS Infusion, LLC
Location: Buford, GA (Hybrid)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, high-quality infusion therapy to patients in an outpatient setting. This role involves initiating and managing IV infusions, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The Infusion RN collaborates with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized and compassionate care.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform patient assessments prior to infusion to ensure clinical appropriateness and readiness.

Initiate, monitor, and discontinue IV infusions, including biologics, antibiotics, hydration, chemotherapy (if certified), and other IV therapies.

Insert, maintain, and manage peripheral IVs, midlines, and central venous access devices (PICC, port, etc.).

Administer medications and fluids per physician orders and facility protocols.

Monitor patients for infusion reactions, adverse effects, or complications and respond promptly to any emergency situations.

Document all care provided, including assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes, in the electronic health record (EHR).

Educate patients and families on therapy regimens, side effects, and home care instructions.

Maintain accurate inventory of medications, supplies, and infusion equipment.

Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and optimize clinical outcomes.

Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES:

Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred).

Licensure:
Current and unrestricted RN license in Georgia
Certifications:
-
BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Preferred
-
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification – Preferred (if applicable)

CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) - Preferred
Experience:
-
Minimum of 1–2 years of IV infusion or acute care nursing experience required.
Experience with biologics, antibiotics, or specialty infusions strongly preferred.

Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance

Proficiency with infusion pumps and electronic charting systems.

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

Stay abreast of developments in field of nursing and infusion therapy.

Meet State Board and/or accreditation agency’s requirements by obtaining at least the minimum amount of continuing education needed to maintain license

Participate in any continuing education and in-services as requested by management.
