Injection Molding Engineer - Automotive Parts Manufacturer - 35812

An automotive parts manufacturer near the Chillicothe, OH area is looking for an Foam Injection Molding Engineer. You will create & support foam-in-place injection molding processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in injection molding processes. Preferably within the automotive parts industry.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.

Responsibilities:

· Create foam-in-place injection molding processes (support cycle times, reduce waste, etc.)

· Support production teams (troubleshoot process issues – corrective actions)

· Work with tooling engineers (molds, fixtures, etc.)

· Work with suppliers (ensure process requirements are met)

· Maintain process documentation (PFMEA, work instructions, etc.)

· Support engineering projects (new product launches, etc.)

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in injection molding processes (within automotive)

· Experience with CAD software

· Knowledge of automotive quality systems (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP)

· Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
