Job Description: Inside Sales Representative (IT Sales)

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative (IT Sales) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing client relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals for IT products and solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong technical understanding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Maintain and update the CRM with accurate and detailed customer information.
- Create and manage targeted outreach campaigns to generate interest in IT products and services.
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable IT products/solutions.
- Conduct virtual product demos, presentations, and initial discovery calls.
- Work closely with the field sales team to hand over qualified leads.
- Prepare and send proposals, quotations, and pricing documents.
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Track sales activities and performance metrics.
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely closure of deals.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Coordinate with pre-sales, technical, and marketing teams for solution design and promotion.
- Provide customer feedback to improve product and service offerings.
- Support marketing initiatives such as webinars, email campaigns, and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field.
- 1–3 years of inside sales experience in IT/Software/Technology sales (preferred).
- Strong understanding of IT solutions (hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS, cloud services, IT infrastructure, or managed services.
- Knowledge of lead generation tools (Apollo, Zoom Info, Lusha, Sales Navigator).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
