Instrumentation Maintenance
- Install, test, and commission various types of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level, etc.).
- Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance of instruments and control systems.
- Inspect and ensure proper functionality of transmitters, sensors, switches, valves, controllers, and PLC/DCS interfaces.
Calibration & Testing
- Carry out calibration of field instruments using standard procedures.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with required specifications.
- Perform loop-checking, signal testing, and control system verification.
Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Diagnose faults in instrumentation and control systems.
- Repair or replace faulty instruments and wiring.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain proper housekeeping of instrumentation workshops.
Documentation & Reporting
- Update maintenance logs, service reports, calibration certificates, and equipment history.
- Assist in preparing material requests, spare parts lists, and inventory control.
Support to Operations
- Support operations team during plant start-up, shutdown, and testing activities.
- Provide technical guidance and support when required.
3. Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in industrial, manufacturing, facility management, or oil & gas sectors.
- Knowledge of PLCs, control valves, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation diagrams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
