Instrumentation Maintenance

  • Install, test, and commission various types of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level, etc.).
  • Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance of instruments and control systems.
  • Inspect and ensure proper functionality of transmitters, sensors, switches, valves, controllers, and PLC/DCS interfaces.

Calibration & Testing

  • Carry out calibration of field instruments using standard procedures.
  • Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with required specifications.
  • Perform loop-checking, signal testing, and control system verification.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

  • Diagnose faults in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Repair or replace faulty instruments and wiring.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping of instrumentation workshops.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Update maintenance logs, service reports, calibration certificates, and equipment history.
  • Assist in preparing material requests, spare parts lists, and inventory control.

Support to Operations

  • Support operations team during plant start-up, shutdown, and testing activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support when required.

3. Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in industrial, manufacturing, facility management, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, control valves, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
