Job Description – Music Teacher (Tabla/Guitar/Drums/Bongos/Harmonium)

Job Title: Music Teacher (Instrumental)
Location: Crossing Republik, Ghaziabad (Nearby School)
Experience Required: 2–5 years
Position Type: Full-Time

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music (Vocal/Instrumental) from a recognized institution
• B.Ed. preferred (not mandatory)
• Expertise in one or more instruments: Tabla, Guitar, Drums, Bongos, Harmonium
• Proficiency in Indian and/or Western music preferred
• Strong performance and teaching skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct instrumental music classes for primary and middle school students
• Teach theory and practical skills related to assigned musical instruments
• Prepare lesson plans, weekly practice routines, and assessments
• Train students for assemblies, cultural programs, competitions, and annual functions
• Conduct individual and group practice sessions
• Ensure discipline and create a positive, engaging music-learning environment
• Coordinate with school management and cultural committees for events and performances
• Maintain student performance records and provide feedback regularly
• Assist in maintaining instruments and coordinating repair/replacement when needed

Skills Required:

• Good communication and classroom management
• Ability to direct group performances and stage rehearsals
• Creativity, musical passion, and patience in working with young learners
• Ability to mentor students and encourage musical growth
