Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our engineering team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems for industrial projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review instrumentation and control system layouts, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
• Perform calibration, testing, and commissioning of field instruments and control systems
• Troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, DCS, and automation systems
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and operations teams during project execution
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and company procedures
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems
• Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, transmitters, control valves, and field instruments
• Experience in industrial, oil & gas, utilities, or manufacturing environments preferred
• Familiarity with international standards and safety regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Honeywell, Yokogawa, or Schneider systems
• Knowledge of loop checking, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities
• Qatar driving license is an advantage
