Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to support the selection, installation, testing, and commissioning of water meters and flow measurement systems. The role involves working with consultants, contractors, and utilities to ensure accurate and compliant measurement solutions as per project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support selection and application of water meters and flow meters (electromagnetic, ultrasonic, mechanical, etc.)
• Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs for correct meter sizing and compliance
• Assist in installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning activities
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshooting, and performance checks
• Prepare technical submittals, reports, and compliance documents
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities for approvals
• Support integration with AMR/AMI, data logging, and SCADA systems
• Ensure compliance with ISO, EN, MID, AWWA, and other standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in water meters/flow measurement
• Experience in water networks, DMAs, or utility projects preferred
• Knowledge of installation, testing, and commissioning practices
• Familiarity with telemetry and data logging systems
• Valid Qatar driving license
