Insurance; Customer Service Representative (CSR) - Must Have a CSR 440 or P&C 220 license. Handling New Business Submissions, endorsement request, working proficiently with underwriters and brokers. Must be organized, professional and the ability to multi-task. The ability to troubleshoot and investigate if you don’t have enough information to resolve issues that arise. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Must be organized in multi-tasking, and strong computer skills.
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers

Skills

  • Proven customer support experience; with Commercial Insurance knowledge.
  • Professional phone skills and active listening.
  • Ability to adapt/respond to different types of requests.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, working with multiple computer screens.
  • High school degree
