- Marketing yourself in your local community
- Networking with other professionals like CPAs, Realtors, and Mortgage Brokers
- Calling on prospects
- Making insurance sales presentations
- Selling Auto-Home-Business and Life Insurance
Insurance Sales Agent requirements: * Entrepreneurial spirit
- Drive and ambition
- People-oriented
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills
- Previous insurance or sales experience preferred but not required
- No criminal convictions, felonies, or misdemeanors within the last 10 years.
Projected Income: * Our agents on average achieve the following for their first 5 years of operation:
- Year 1, $60,000 - $90,000
- year 2, $90,000 - $120,000
- Year 3, $120,000 - $150,000
- Year 4, $150,000 - $180,000
- Year 5, $180,000 - $250,000+
