Job Title: Insurance Sales Executive

Overview:
The Insurance Sales executive leads the sales function within the insurance division, driving revenue growth, developing strategies, and managing a team of sales professionals. This role requires strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets while building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company growth and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market segments to expand the client base.
  • Set sales goals, forecasts, and performance metrics for the team.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to adjust strategies accordingly.

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of insurance sales managers/agents.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations to maximize productivity.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and results.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, brokers, and corporate accounts.
  • Oversee the resolution of client issues to ensure excellent service and retention.
  • Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and industry functions.

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Prepare and manage the sales budget, forecasts, and reports.
  • Track KPIs and present performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, policies, and ethical standards.

Product & Market Development

  • Collaborate with underwriting, product, and marketing teams to design competitive offerings.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, product improvements, and market demands.
  • Stay updated on insurance products (life, health, general, commercial, etc.) to guide the team effectively.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Deep knowledge of insurance products, sales processes, and industry regulations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Typical Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3 to 6 years of insurance sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in insurance.
