Board of Child Care’s Caminos® program provides safe, secure placement options for children who have recently migrated to the United States and are seeking opportunities for reunification with family as well as the chance to pursue their education and legal immigration cases. They are young and vulnerable, and have made the hazardous journey facing exploitation, abuse and human trafficking alone and have been placed in our care.
What we are looking for:
A remote clinician that is responsible for delivering culturally competent services that consist of mental health assessments, screening for human trafficking concerns, crisis intervention and support services and psycho-educational support groups for recently migrated youth as they adjust to life in the United States.
The remote clinician would also support the delivery of Board of Child Care’s (BCC) trauma responsive model by collaborating with the Post Release Services case management team to ensure the youth and their caregivers receive comprehensive services and are connected to both formal and informal resources in their community.
