Responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed interior design plans using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Support project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare presentation materials and mood boards that incorporate color theory, lighting design, and material selections to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Draft construction documents, renovation plans, and remodeling layouts while ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
• Collaborate with the team on lighting sales strategies, lighting design projects, and specifications for various interior spaces.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation related to contracts, specifications, and client communications.

Skills

• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, space planning, and material selection.
• Experience with CAD drafting, construction documentation, remodeling processes, and renovation projects.
• Knowledge of project management practices such as scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to contracts and construction details.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, contractors, and team members.
• Passion for interior design trends along with a keen eye for detail in lighting sales and remodeling projects. Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
