Responsibilities
- Assist in creating detailed design concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), and Adobe Creative Suite to develop visual presentations and technical drawings.
- Support project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare drafting documents, floor plans, elevations, lighting plans, and color schemes while adhering to client specifications and design standards.
- Collaborate with senior designers on renovation and remodeling projects by conducting site visits, taking measurements, and documenting existing conditions.
- Contribute to lighting design and lighting sales efforts by assisting in selecting fixtures that enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality.
- Assist with contract preparation, procurement processes, and tracking project milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Support the development of CAD drawings for construction documents while maintaining accuracy and clarity throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino (3ds <PERSON>), Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
- Strong drafting skills combined with knowledge of color theory and interior design principles.
- Experience with project management tools or methodologies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction processes, remodeling techniques, lighting design, budgeting practices, and contracts is a plus.
- Knowledge of CAD software such as Bluebeam for document review and collaboration will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- A background or education in interior design or related fields will strengthen your application.
