Responsibilities

• Assist in developing design concepts using tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to create detailed plans and visualizations.
• Prepare drafting and construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings with CAD software such as Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
• Support project management tasks by coordinating schedules, tracking budgets, and communicating with vendors and contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Contribute to lighting design and remodeling projects by selecting fixtures, materials, and finishes based on color theory principles and client preferences.
• Conduct site visits for renovation and construction projects to monitor progress, verify specifications, and assist with quality control.
• Collaborate on interior design presentations by creating mood boards, renderings, and visualizations that effectively communicate design intent.
• Assist in preparing contracts, proposals, and procurement documents while maintaining accurate records of project details.

Experience

• Proven experience with interior design software such as SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with drafting standards, color theory application, lighting sales strategies, renovation processes, construction documentation, and remodeling techniques.
• Knowledge of project management principles including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Understanding of contracts related to interior design projects along with experience in lighting sales or lighting design preferred.
• Prior involvement in commercial or residential interior projects demonstrating strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
