Interior Design Assistant, Procurement Specialist

Clint Nicholas Design is a boutique Interior Design Firm located in Hollywood, California led by Clint Nicholas. We are a creative team that takes on a variety of high-end, large scale residential properties and occasional hospitality/ commercial clients. Our projects span across the greater Los Angeles area and include additional active sites in various cities including Napa, Aspen, Miami, Austin, Hawaii, really whereeve our clients take us. We are passionate about our team, the relationships we build, the spaces we bring to life and our work environment is supportive, creative, and collaborative.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented candidate that will be highly organized and motivated. Experience in Billing platforms /Studio Designer (Studio IT), Microsoft Word, Excel, excellent communication and accounting skills will be needed to handle budgets, schedules, billing and purchasing.

Primary duties/ responsibilities:

  • Purchasing coordinator managing accounting functions including billings, accounts receivable and payable
  • Utilize Studio Designer software with proficiency in item entry, budgets, and proposal creation
  • Assist with the creation and management of budgets and inventory through Studio Designer and Excel
  • Set up of new vendor accounts, including W9 collection and delivery of resale certificate
  • Interact with vendors to schedule delivery times and coordinate shipping and logistics
  • Prepare and issue client proposals
  • Authorize payments and maintain receipts and records
  • Provide project accounting data to managerial staff as needed
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Personal form of reliable transportation will be needed for site visits, sample pickup, etc.
  • Maintain fabric and sample library in office
  • Visit vendors to retrieve samples

Qualifications – REQUIRED:

  • Comparable experience, preferably in a similar design field
  • Efficient time management and prioritization of assigned tasks
  • Self-Starter capable of multi-tasking without losing attention to detail
  • Demonstrates an adaptable, collaborative, and positive attitude
  • Clear communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship is available for this position

Qualifications – PREFERRED:

  • Experience with Excel and Word, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience with orders and billing for an Interior Design firm

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
