Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Interior Design Engineer to support the delivery of interior design projects from concept through execution. The role involves ensuring design compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, approved budgets, and project timelines while enhancing the aesthetic and functional quality of spaces.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage third-party vendors, and contribute innovative design solutions aligned with modern industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy, Policy & Compliance

• Follow all departmental policies, SOPs, and procedures.
• Ensure design compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of all project-related information.

2. Design & Project Execution

• Lead interior design and renovation works from concept to completion.
• Develop design concepts, execution methods, and timelines.
• Review engineering drawings, materials, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate cost estimation and budget planning with engineering teams.
• Supervise contractors and third-party vendors.
• Evaluate materials for durability, safety, aesthetics, and compliance.
• Provide innovative design solutions to improve building aesthetics.
• Review and manage change orders and project variations.
• Stay updated with modern design trends, sustainable materials, and technologies.

3. Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth coordination with contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

4. Budget Control

• Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.

5. Reporting

• Prepare regular project progress reports and status updates.

6. Additional Responsibilities

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and design tools (Illustrator, Revit, or similar).

Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in interior design or related field.
