Duties

• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts using tools such as SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce detailed drawings and visualizations.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets; translate these insights into innovative design solutions.
• Prepare detailed construction documents, including drafting plans, elevations, sections, and specifications using CAD and Bluebeam software.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively while ensuring all phases of design are executed seamlessly from concept through construction.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors on lighting sales, remodeling efforts, renovation projects, and construction processes to ensure design integrity and quality standards are met.
• Oversee lighting design elements by integrating color theory principles and lighting specifications to enhance ambiance and functionality.
• Review contracts, scope of work documents, and bidding processes to ensure compliance with project requirements and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in interior design or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign), Bluebeam, and drafting software.
• Solid understanding of interior design principles such as color theory, space planning, lighting design, and material selection.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent project management skills.
• Knowledge of contracts law related to interior design projects as well as budgeting techniques for cost control.
• Familiarity with construction processes including site visits, inspections, renovation workflows, and collaboration with contractors.
• Strong communication skills for effective client presentations and team coordination.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $66,375.34 per year
