Prime Builders is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team in Park City, Utah. We specialize in luxury, custom residential homes with an emphasis on modern design, craftsmanship, and a seamless client experience.

We are open to designers with 1–5 years of experience who are motivated, detail-oriented, and excited to work across all stages of the design and construction process.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for producing complete design packages for our homes — from early concept through construction documentation. You will create detailed interior drawings, assist with material and finish selections, and collaborate closely with our project managers, architects, and clients.

This position is ideal for someone who loves both the creative and technical sides of design and wants to grow within a fast-paced, high-end residential building company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop full interior design packages, including plans, elevations, details, and schedules for construction.
  • Produce high-quality drawings in Revit (preferred) or AutoCAD.
  • Prepare client presentation decks, mood boards, finish palettes, and sample boards.
  • Create internal marketing materials, including design renderings, portfolio images, and presentation collateral.
  • Coordinate selections for cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, hardware, finishes, furnishings, and more.
  • Work with the team to meet project milestones and follow the construction schedule to deliver design information on time.
  • Collaborate with jobsite teams, subs, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed.
  • Participate in client meetings, take notes, and document decisions.
  • Track and manage samples, supplier info, and material specifications.

Ideal Candidate

  • 1–5 years of interior design experience, preferably with residential or boutique/luxury projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit highly preferred; AutoCAD acceptable with willingness to learn Revit.
  • Strong graphic and visual communication skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, or similar).
  • Ability to produce clean, organized, build-ready drawings.
  • Strong sense of modern design aesthetics, materials, and detailing.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple deadlines, and comfortable working within a construction-driven schedule.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow.

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with Enscape, Twinmotion, or other rendering software
  • FF&E sourcing and procurement experience
  • Experience in custom millwork, cabinetry, or architectural detailing
  • Familiarity with high-end vendors and materials
  • Social media or brand content creation interest

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to design multi-million-dollar luxury homes from concept through completion
  • Collaborative, fast-moving environment with significant creative freedom
  • Exposure to architecture, construction, development, and client management
  • Growth potential within a rapidly expanding building company
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
