Our team brings deep K-12 expertise paired with a scalable global delivery model that ensures the right talent is engaged at every phase. We are seeking an Interior Designer with strong creative instincts, technical fluency, and the ability to translate educational program needs into clear, inspiring spaces.

PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and Development

  • Develop interior concepts, space plans, and material palettes.
  • Create environments that support learning, collaboration, wellness, and safety.
  • Prepare interior finish plans, furniture layouts, color studies, and material boards.
  • Select finishes, materials, furniture, and equipment appropriate for K-12 environments.
  • Assist with FF&E specifications, procurement coordination, and documentation.

Technical Documentation

  • Prepare interior drawings in Revit, including plans, elevations, and details.
  • Coordinate interior documentation with architectural and consultant teams.
  • Maintain finish schedules, material records, and documentation accuracy.

Client and Stakeholder Support

  • Participate in design workshops, user meetings, and visioning sessions.
  • Present design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentation boards, mood boards, and 3D visualizations.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with project architects, project managers, and the global team.
  • Participate in QA reviews and maintain consistency with Stacked standards.
  • Contribute to lessons learned, tool development, and design process improvements.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior architecture or interior design preferred
  • 4 to 8 years of experience, ideally in K-12 or institutional design
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft 365
  • Experience with FF&E, finish specifications, and creating educational environments
  • Strong eye for composition, color, materiality, and spatial design
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • NCIDQ or CID preferred, but not required
