Interior Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, 3+ years experience, and a passion for transforming spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, develop design concepts, and oversee the implementation of projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to determine their design goals requirements, and budget constraints.
• Create detailed design plans using software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Develop 3D models and renderings to visualize design concepts.
• Select appropriate materials, furnishings, and lighting
• Prepare project budgets and timelines
• Oversee renovation projects, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure quality execution of designs.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and make necessary adjustments to designs as needed.
• Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback for final approval.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred. MUST have NCIDQ certification or qualified and eager to obtain within 1 year
• Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign.
• Strong understanding of budgeting processes related to interior design projects.
• Familiarity with the procurement process, with a focus on sourcing from local and global suppliers, an added plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas to clients and also coordinate with Builders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics in interior spaces.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
