Compensation:

We offer a competitive -guaranteed

base range of $48,500 - $60,000, commensurate with skills, years of experience, and design achievements. With profit sharing commission opportunities, potential earnings can reach between $75,000. $125,000+ annually.

Our expertise encompasses all phases of design, from initial concept to final completion, with a specialization in comprehensive remodeling projects.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill a unique hybrid position, providing crucial support to the Principal Designer and assuming interior design leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess proven interior design expertise and a comprehensive understanding of all facets of the interior design process A strong commitment to excellence and unwavering dedication to our core values are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Technical Proficiency:

Impeccable computer skills are a prerequisite. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the Apple Interface. Training will be provided on our proprietary software and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) systems, including Design Files. Candidates must be proficient in Keynote (PowerPoint), Pages and Numbers (Excel), and iCloud file organization. Experience with AutoCAD, Rayon, SketchUp, AI knowledge, and other cutting-edge design technologies is highly desirable

* Adherence to Protocol: Strict adherence to our established business protocol and alignment with our core values are mandatory. The candidate must be prepared to invest in personal training, utilizing company-provided tools, to quickly master our software and effectively perform required duties. Continuous training opportunities for professional advancement will be provided.

* Adaptability and Attitude:

This position requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can readily shift priorities to meet the evolving needs of the company and our clients. A positive, "can-do" attitude is essential, along with a strong desire to contribute to company growth and function as an integral member of our team.

* Interior Design and Administrative Expertise: A minimum of 4-7 years of interior design experience and coinciding with 3-5 years of proven administrative skills specific to interior design experience is required. Candidates must be highly motivated, can work in a fat pace environment, proficient in handling multiple tasks accurately and possess “exceptional” computer skills.

* Passion and Initiative: A genuine passion for design, a thirst for knowledge, and a proactive, "get-up-and-go" attitude are critical for success.

Key Responsibilities;

* Administrative Support:Perform administrative tasks, including reviewing and placing purchase orders, filing damage claims, tracking orders, and maintaining and reporting monthly sales data. Attend contractual client meetings as required.

* Design Support:

* AutoCAD and technical drawings create detailed floor plans, elevations, and sections, as well as generate realistic 3D models and renderings.

* Source materials, furnishings, and fabrics; conduct independent shopping and client meetings. Assist the team in design operations planning, create spreadsheets, and support project execution from inception to completion.

* Sales and Client Interaction: Employ excellent sales techniques to engage showroom walk-ins. Maintain detailed notes and track the status of meetings. Manage schedules and update data within our systems.

* Project Coordination: Schedule and coordinate deliveries and installation dates. Provide essential drawings for warehouse installers and attend installation appointments.

* Vendor Relations: Meet with vendor representatives and attend networking events, which may include evening hours.

* Data Entry: Provide accurate interior design administrative data entry support for 3-4 hours daily.

* Construction Knowledge: Possess a working understanding of construction terminology, scheduling, and planning, or demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.

* SOP Compliance: Strictly adhere to our Standard Order of Operations (SOP).

* Project Management:Effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Interpersonal Skills:

Demonstrate strong follow-up and interpersonal skills.

* Organizational Skills: Help manage and organize projects and presentations.

* Sample Management: Maintain fabric samples and ensure studio samples are current. Order memo samples for the team. Accurately price and tag furniture on the showroom floor and enter data into our POS system as needed.

* Marketing and Communication: Marketing, networking, and event planning skills are a plus. Social media proficiency is helpful. Possess strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels, management, and external parties.

* Problem Solving and Teamwork:

Demonstrate creative solutions, leadership, and applied problem-solving skills. Exhibit strong teamwork abilities and achieve results through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

* Professionalism: Proven ability to self-manage and demonstrate a high level of professional maturity.

* Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate file information, including dimensions and designs, with meticulous attention to detail.

* Presentation Support: Assist in marketing and design presentation development. Verify material selections, FF&E, pricing, and availability. Provide interior design presentation support to senior designers.

* Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and be able to deliver small items to clients and suppliers as needed.

* Travel: Must be able to travel out of state with short notice for client meetings and design markets; all hotel and travel expenses will be covered.

Additional Requirements:

* Flexibility to work occasional mornings prior to 9:30 am for client or trade meetings, as well as evening hours and weekends based on client workload and deadlines. Our team rotates Saturdays (2 per month), with hours from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, depending on workload.
