Interior Designer & Showroom Stylist

HomePlace Furniture & Design is seeking a creative, motivated Interior Designer / Showroom Stylist to help transform and refresh our Hubbard showroom as part of an exciting new growth phase.

This is a hands-on opportunity to redesign showroom spaces, create inspiring furniture displays, and help shape the visual direction of a growing furniture company preparing for future expansion into the Portland market.

We are looking for someone with a strong eye for design, space planning, color coordination, merchandising, and creating warm, elevated interiors that inspire customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and style furniture showroom displays
• Create complete room environments and floor layouts
• Refresh and rotate merchandising presentations
• Assist with furniture selection and visual coordination
• Collaborate on showroom organization and aesthetic direction
• Help create a welcoming and inspiring customer experience
• Support social media and visual marketing content when needed

Qualifications

• Background and interest in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Home Décor, or Furniture Design
• Strong sense of style, layout, and color coordination
• Creative, self-motivated, and organized
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Retail furniture or staging experience is a plus, but not required
• Positive attitude and growth mindset

Compensation

• Hourly base pay
• Additional commission / performance opportunities
