About the Role: We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer & Visual Merchandiser who can bring rooms to life using tools like Canva (or similar platforms). This role is ideal for someone who not only understands interior design but knows how to package and present it visually in a way that captivates our clients and drives engagement.

You will be responsible for creating magazine-worthy, visually appealing style boards, room layouts, and marketing visuals that reflect different home design styles—from traditional to contemporary to modern—using actual products from our partner vendors. Your work will help clients envision possibilities and make confident design decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create customized vision boards, mood boards, and room mockups using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools

• Style furniture and accessories from our vendor catalog into cohesive, styled room packages (with pricing tiers from economic to luxury)

• Translate client preferences into curated room designs that reflect various interior styles (modern, traditional, contemporary, etc.)

• Design visual layouts for marketing purposes—website, social media, emails, brochures, and real estate listing visuals

• Collaborate with our team to deliver polished, professional marketing materials that can be used in pitches and presentations

• Occasionally consult with clients (homeowners, property managers) to understand their design preferences and propose furniture packages accordingly

• Stay up to date on home design trends and ensure our visuals reflect current, marketable aesthetics

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in interior design or visual merchandising

• Strong proficiency with Canva or other visual design tools (Photoshop, InDesign, or similar)

• Portfolio of past design work (mood boards, style boards, room renderings, etc.)

• Strong understanding of design principles and ability to work across different style preferences

• Knowledge of furniture/accessory sourcing and styling, preferably with vendor coordination experience

• Ability to combine visual storytelling with pricing and product selections for marketing

• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet design deadlines

• Strong communication skills—comfortable consulting with clients and translating ideas into visual design

Bonus if You Have:

• Experience in real estate marketing or home staging

• Photography or rendering experience

• Knowledge of interior design software like SketchUp, Morpholio, or Houzz Pro

• Branding or copywriting experience for design visuals
