Interior Designer/Project Manager

Overview
Stay Studio is looking for a thoughtful, driven Interior Designer to join our growing team. This role is an opportunity to work closely with our designers on a wide range of projects—from high-end residential and luxury spas to boutique work spaces. We’re seeking someone with a solid grounding in interior design principles, strong technical and digital skills, and an instinct for crafting spaces that feel both purposeful and inspired.

This position is ideal for recent graduates or emerging designers who want to deepen their craft within a collaborative, design-led studio environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist design team in developing conceptual and schematic designs
• Create detailed drawings, renderings and presentations using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Prepare presentation materials that effectively communicate design ideas to clients.
• Support project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
• Participate in site visits to oversee installation processes, ensuring designs are executed accurately within budget constraints.
• Maintain organized project documentation and correspondance and adhere to deadlines throughout all project stages.
• Aid in the procurement of FF&E and OS&E for a variety of projects with varying scopes from high end furnishings and accesories, to custom millwork and lighting.

Experience

• Prior experience in interior design or related fields is required.
• Proficiency with Studio Designer, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and CAD software is highly desirable.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members.
• A portfolio demonstrating creative design solutions and technical proficiency will be considered a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
